Lesson 2 How Do You Go to School?(第 1课时) 【教材分析】
本课选自 EEC 小学英语五年级上册第二课第一课时。学生的主要生活空间是家 庭和学校 。 本节课设计的内容就是学会用英语谈论家庭的远近和出行时的交通工 具。让学生在情景中感悟、模仿、操练语言,在游戏活动中达到交流与运用的目 的。
【学情分析】
五年级的学生学习英语已两年多了,他们已具备了一定的英语学习能力,积累了 一定的语言知识。出行是他们所喜欢和感兴趣的事,又跟他们的生活息息相关, 因此学习起来不会感觉吃力。但受地区差异和条件的限制,对于一些交通工具还 是比较陌生的,如 subway (地铁),我们这里就没有开通,学生没有亲身的体 验,学习起来会有些困难。所以,在教学过程中,我借助图片和动作来帮助学生 学习和理解,从而激发了学生的兴趣,发展了求知欲。
【教学目标】
1、 学生学会用英语谈论家的远近及交通手段 。 掌握一些交通工具的名称 , 如 :car、 bike 、 bus 、 subway 。学习句型 Do you live near/far …?

2、培养学生搜索信息能力,提升实践与合作互助意识。
教学重点、难点:
学生以家庭和学校之间的距离和交通手段为内容的问答训练是本课的重点 , 难点 是个别单词的发音和拼写,句意的整体把握。

学情分析:

英语是一门语言学科,语言的本质是言语。外语教学应当遵循听、说、读、写的 原则。在小学英语教学中,听说有着重要的意义,但同时要兼顾理解和记忆。处 在这一年龄段的学生,形象思维占优势,抽象思维处于初级发展阶段;记忆又存 在这样的特点:记得快,忘得也快。基于这些,我主要用以下的几种方法:
1、预习法:通过预习培养学生查找资料的能力和自主探究学习的能力。
2、听说法:通过听和说,感知句子的发音、正确的语音语调。
3、精讲与学生领学法:通过学生对已会知识的领学和教师对本课重点、难点的 精解,给学生足够的自学空间和表现自我、发展自我能力的机会;体验自主学习 与收获的喜悦;达到有效教学。
4、反馈精练法:通过各种同桌、四人一小组、角色表演的练习;反馈精练板块 的设计,使学生较为流利自如地掌握对话;体验合作、探究、反馈的乐趣。 5、交流法与自留作业法:让学生在课的结束部分说出自己的收获,根据自己的 实际情况给自己留英语作业,把学习的主动权交给学生。并让学生把易混的知识 加以分析、比较、梳理、归类,便于学生记忆。
6、小组合作法:让学生在练习时,几人一小组进行操练,不仅使学生掌握知识 技能,同时也培养学生的合作学习能力。
7、游戏比赛法:让学生在游戏与比赛中体尝
教学准备:
语言是一种交际工具,小学阶段的英语教学又侧重于口语。为了帮助学生掌握和 运用这些句子,我注重引导学生采用听说、朗读、小组合作、角色表演、反馈精 练等方法,培养学生敢于开口,积极实践的良好学习习惯。在这一课中,我做的 课前准备有:

2、准备若干小红花(作为奖励学生用的老师自制的手工小红花)和小粘贴。
