《远离尘嚣》,真的正如这本书的题目所说的那样可以洗涤人尘杂的心吗,我想不然,即使是在乡村,即使是过着远离尘嚣的生活,也让我看到了发生在一个无知少女身上的波澜起伏的爱情。虽然在这没有工业社会的尔虞我诈,但仍有冲动的鲁莽之举。
农场主伯德尔德便是一个很好的例子,人至中年的他对女人毫无兴趣,家境殷实的他本可以平静的过一辈子,无忧无虑。却因为芭丝谢芭的一张情人卡打破了他尘封多年的心,是他坠入情网,从此不能自拔。他的爱是单纯的,不夹任何杂念,他的爱是无私的,不求任何回报,只求她能幸福,哪怕她与别人在一起。他的爱是伟大的,他能为了她不顾自己的死亡,因为他无法忍受别人带给她一丝痛苦。在芭丝谢芭沉浸在浪漫却阴险的爱情中迷失了自己,他只能开枪打死特洛伊,然后再向警方自首,他的行为是鲁莽的,是冲动的。不能否认他在这之前没有考虑过后果,其实他比任何人都清楚,可他还是那样做了,而且是那样的干脆。与其说是他的冲动毁了他一生还不如说是芭丝谢芭的无知造成了他的悲剧。
特洛伊,一个年轻的士兵,他用他与生俱来的资本——英俊潇洒骗取了一个又一个女人的心,居然连高傲的芭丝谢芭也不可避免。她还是逃不过特洛伊的花言巧语。她是单纯的,不谙世事,不了解人心险恶,不知道在她看来浪漫的爱情背后藏着的是一把利剑。特洛伊根本不爱她,他的心里始终有另外一个女人。常言道因果报应,
因此死便是他必然的结果,而他的死也间接的挽救了一个少女的灵魂。在经历了几番曲折后她会成熟,她终于知道谁才是她真正应该选择的——盖伯瑞克。
盖伯瑞克,他虽然在一次灾难后变得贫穷,但他忠诚能干,即使表白遭拒仍一如既往的,默默的喜欢着芭丝谢芭。尽管之前看见过几次芭丝谢芭的丑态与缺点,但爱情就是这样,在喜欢人的面前无须掩饰,因为他爱的不是她的美貌与地位。在得知芭丝谢芭与特洛伊结婚的消息后他也心痛万分,可与伯德伍德相反的是,他并没有因此而憎恨特洛伊,他选择了理智,或许这一切都是上天安排好的一样,在风雨过后,决定给他一个美好的归宿,让他回到芭丝谢芭身边,在她最无助,最绝望的时候。或许他不像伯德伍德那样富有,不像特洛伊那样英俊,但他有自己的财富,他善良,真诚,执着……正是这些赋予了他打败一切困难的力量,最后与芭丝谢芭永远在一起。
总的来说,我们不能爱慕虚荣,就像小说中的女主人公芭丝谢芭那样,她虽生的美丽聪慧。但爱慕虚荣。选择了金玉其外,败絮其中的青年军官特洛伊。特洛伊是闯入“远离尘嚣”世界的资本主义生活方式和利已原则的体现者。后被疯狂爱着芭丝谢芭的伯德伍德所杀,后者也因此终身监禁。盖伯瑞克作为传统而完美的威塞克斯人形象所体现的是哈代田园理想。表达作者对放弃传统理想的回归愿望。

这篇小说让我们知道应该如何去选择爱情才不至于盲目，小说
中的特洛伊对待爱情是很盲目与不负责任的，他不负责任地丢下了芳丽?罗宾,不负责任地与美丽的芭丝谢芭?埃弗登结了婚,最后伤害的是他们三个人。
爱情应该就应该像盖伯瑞尔?奥克对待芭丝谢芭那样的忠贞,或许在这个物欲横流的社会中已经几乎找不到这种纯真、无私的爱情了,但正因为如此哈代手中的奥克才成了众多女生心中的美好期待,同时也成了众多男士学习的楷模了，
这篇小说围绕芭丝谢芭?埃弗登与三个男人之间的爱情纠葛而进行的，
小说中的特洛伊是我们一般人的象征,作者赞美的是盖伯瑞尔式的坚贞不渝的爱情，他把这种爱情是为高尚的美德。他特别赞赏建立在共同事业上的爱情，
在几个人中我最喜欢奥克,他对爱情是那么的忠贞,那么的无私,这种男人在女人心中应该是很成熟的,也是最易获得她人芳心的。同时他为人老实、善良,不耍手段,那么的无私。而特洛伊却是那么地不负责任,那么地冲动,害了芳丽、害了芭丝谢芭、害了博尔伍德,而且他嗜赌不听劝告,因此这些人物中我最不喜欢就数特洛伊了,尽管博尔伍德最后杀了他,但这也并没有得到我的同情。总的来说特洛伊是人品不行。然而特洛伊在恋爱方面耍的几个小把戏我倒是蛮喜欢的,在爱情上他比博尔伍德好多了,三个人中博尔伍德在爱情上是最懦弱的了,他对爱情是那么地敏感,所以就易激动,无法控制好自己的情绪。我想没有哪一个女人能忍受得了博尔伍德式对爱情的
态度,不过博尔伍德人品倒还好,只是他的,ai,情商太低了,所以如除去在爱情方面的表现,博尔伍德的行为也是没有什么好指责的。尽管他杀了人,事实上倒成全了芭丝谢芭,与奥克,，
由此看来,一个最重要的还数人品,人品不行了,就会让人家瞧不起,如果你人品行的话,即使其他方面有些缺点都是可以忍受的，

岛上有几家非常幽静花园酒店，

果不其然一个人也没有，
纵然没有艳阳高照的时候，
海水依旧绽放出诱人的色彩，
一块块被冲刷的红色岩石成为海滩的主人，
熙攘的喧嚣成为永远的奢望，
眼前的景象成为随时随地的唾手可得。

Book Report
——“Far from the Madding Crowd.”
This novel was wrote by a famous British writer Thomas Hardy. He was born in rural area so most of his novel happened in countryside. Far from the Madding Crowd is also included. This novel is his fourth novel and it achieves a great success with fresh and natural style and vivid characters. Owing to this success, he gave up his previous occupation and devoted himself to writing and finally makes a great significance.
First, I want to introduce the basic plot of this story to you.
The novel Far from the Madding Crowd talked a love story happened in a rural place, Weatherbury. A young shepherd, William Boldwood fell in love with a proud beauty, Bathsheba Everdene, who arrived to live with her aunt. But when he made her an unadorned offer of marriage, she refused. After a few months, she moved to Weatherbury. William Boldwood met his lover again there and helped her stop grain from a dangerous fire. At that time, Bathsheba Everdene took over his uncle’s farm and became the hostess of the farm. Meanwhile, Bathsheba had a new admirer, the lonely and repressed William Boldwood. But she also refused his offer of marriage and fell in love with a dashing Sergeant Frank Troy, and married him soon. After several years of Troy’s death caused by William Boldwood’s shooting, Everdene accepted Boldwood and married him.
Second , I want to introduce the main characters.
Bathesheba, a young woman who used to be a poor girl, but inherited her uncle’s farm after his death .Bathsheba refused Oak and Boldwood, and married Troy. After Troy’s death she lived with Oak together. She’s a lovely, beautiful, independent and charming young lady, but she has her faults. As Oak said “Her great fault is that she’s vain.” Because of her vanity, she liked dreaming perhaps of men’s hearts won and lost ,and because of her vanity, she couldn’t distinguish the true love.
Gabriel Oak is a man about 30 years old, who is tall, well-built, brave, clever and has good characters. Oak’s dream of being a farmer was destroyed by a disaster and he became the shepherd of Bathsheba. He hided his hurt feelings and always accompanied with Bathsheba .He kept her farm safe from fire and storm. The author says，“Although normally one of the quietest and most gentle man on earth ,had suddenly become aggressive (when someone is going to hurt Bathsheba.)” He always does what his heart tells him.
Boldwood, a man about 40 years old, who is a rich farmer, falls in love with Bathsheba after she sent a valentine to him, which destroys his peaceful routine. He is a man with strong feelings which normally lay hidden deep inside him. “When he loved, or hated, it was with his whole heart.” In the end he killed Troy and he was sent to the prison.
Sergeant Frank, is a young handsome man who likes to chase girls. He seems to be well-educated and he tells others his real father is a noble man. Troy married Bathsheba .After Fanny’s death, he began to realize how deeply he loved Fanny and felt regretful. He left home for a long period, which made people guess he had died. But when he came back home, Boldwood killed him by shooting.
Fanny, is a poor woman who used to be the maid of Bathsheba’s uncle. She escaped to go to marry with Troy. But on the weeding day, she went into the wrong chapel, which made Frank abandon her. Finally, she died with her unborn baby because of illness and poverty..
Then, I’d like to say something about the theme “love”.
We are made to think about these three questions after reading it:
1`How does love take place.
Love is a mystery. Sometimes we love someone and we even don’t know why. But there must be some possible factors producing love. In this book, Gabriel loved Bathsheba after the evening in which she took care of him when he was almost dying. Boldwood began to love Bathsheba after receiving the valentine from her. Bathsheba fell in love with Troy after watching his sword dance. Something charming, such as kindness, beauty, riches, even sweet words, attracts our heart, then love takes place.
2`How to find love.
Sometimes love is hidden inside our heart and even ourselves can’t find it. Bathsheba marries Troy/ In fact, Troy loves Fanny most and Bathsheba is always depending on Oak. They don’t know their own hearts .
3`What true love is.
In this book, the there men love Bathsheba in different ways.
Oak’s love is to make Bathsheba happy and to be with her. He tried his best to help Bathsheba manage her farm. Although there was deep ache inside him, he tried to be a good friend to her and gave her sincere advice on marriage. He loved her deeply, but he never lost his dignity and principles. He regarded love as a independent thing. It had nothing to do with Bathsheba.
Boldwood’s love is to possess. In his eyes, Bathsheba was everything,. His love to Bathsheba was expressed by a over whelming desire to possess her. Without her, his world seemed not to be rotate. As a result, he couldn’t bear the returning of Troy, and shot him to death. He himself was mad and put into the prison. His love for Bathsheba reached a ridiculous morbid degree and wasn’t true.
Troy’s love is a game. He regarded love as a game and he took little responsibility. Like his skill at the sword, he is attractive and thrilling, but rather shadow and empty. He made full use of his romance to attract girl’s hearts and then got tired of them and abandoned them. “He lives only in the present, caring nothing for the past or the future.” Because of his bad attitude towards love, he hurt two beautiful women, both Fanny and Bathsheba.
After reading this book, I think we could take some lessons from it.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed.
We should know how to love and be loved.
We should learn how to choose with the clear eyes in our hearts.
Without vanity and proud, we should try to make our hearts live in a place which is far from the madding crowd.

Recently,I read the book called ‘Far from the Madding crowd’The book which is famous for world written by Clare west..
The book described a beautiful story for us. The events of the 1870s provided the backdrop for the story .Everything happened in the field of England. At that time, people living in there earning money depend on physical labor such as pulling the cart ,spun the wool into threat and plant the grain.
Where the flowers bloomed and the leaves fallen, the love still greater fiercely burning . The main character who called Bathsheba is an innocent and beautiful girl. There situated large farm in wealtherbury belongs to her. The farm is her uncle left. But now, she look charge of the business. she can’t resist the coming love ,though it is unnecessary for her.
The second character in this story called Gabriel Oak. Gabriel was a sensible man of good character, who had been brought up by his father as a shephered. He was twenty-eight a tall, well-built men. He always showing persistence love for Bathsheba. Another man-Mr Bolwood ,he was his own farm and very rich. He was serious, and did not joke with his neighbours .People thought he was cold. Of course ,he considered women to be distance almost foreign creatures. Plus, There is a young men called Sergeant Troy met with Bathsheba which is a absolute chance. His father was a doctor ,but people said his real father was a nobleman. He had been brought up in Weathebury and was well known as a young soldier with a great interest in girls.
This innocent and simple women and three different status man developing their emotional story. When Bathsheba first appeared at the weekly casterbridge market ,She caused a sensation .All of people observed her, but she noticed that there was one farmed, however ,who did not seem to notice her, and this annoyed her a valentine said ‘Marry me’ to disturb the farmer Boldwood. The valentine has destroyed the peaceful routine of Boldwood’s life. He turned his head and looked at her. To Baldwood , Bathsheba Shine like the moon on a dark night .His heart ,which his love her. He decided to go and speak to her.
“I wouldn ’t have proposed if you hadn ’t allowed me to hope ”he said to Bathsheba.Perhaps, Bathsheba ’s young heart was full of pity for this sensitive man who had spoken so simply and honestly . However, when she met with a handsome soldier ,she hesitate. A young called Sergeant Troy who wear a bright red and gold army uniform. He bring her visit a lot of beautiful places and enjoy themselves .At last she was married to him. At that time ,another two men are trapped in
deep sadness.
A long time went as usually ,but the life in Bathsheba and Troy’s eyes more and more bored, Troy always using money to house-racing. and he no longer loved her enough to agree to anything she wanted. On the otherhand, Boldwood hate Troy very much from bottom of his heart .So ,There existed a lot of disputes between Boldwood and Troy.
An unexpected impulse making Boldwood turned the gun on Troy and troyed get killed. Boldwood was found guilty of murder, and in the end Boldwood was sent to prison for life. Bathsheba blamed herself for Troy’s death and her health health improved only very slowly.
In the next years ,Gabriel a hardworking men take a good care of Bathsheba. She went for a walk often with Gabriel, talking of his plans for farm business.
Comment:This shared interests and their long ,friendly relationship had given them a complete understanding of each other’s, and this friendly developed, after their wedding , into a love that nothing would destroy.
