At present, it is well known that text messages are widely involved in various TV programs in our country. But concerning this hot topic, different people take different attitudes.
Supporters hold the view that text messages offer the audience more chances to participated in the live programs. In this way, the mass media benefit a lot from them. In addition, they are popular with young people because it is quite fashionable.
Those who are against the idea argue that text messages are likely to get out of control, in which case the taste of the programs cannot be guaranteed. What’s more, the expenses may

With the development of our society, more and more private cars stream onto the road, which brings a big problem to our city. So shall the car drivers be charged a congestion fee?
Different people have different opinions. Some think it’s necessary to charge the driver. They
believe it to be an effective way to control the number of private cars, and reduce traffic jams and
air pollution. If they don’t want to pay, they can take public transport instead. What’s more, the
money raised by the charge can be used to improve public transportation.
However, others oppose the idea. They hold the view that people drive because they have to. And they have paid a lot for their cars: rising oil price, taxes and other fees, so the government
should try to find another way to solve the problem. Besides, the congestion fee will affect the economy as fewer shoppers may go downtown.
In my opinion, it will be an unfair burden for car owners who already pay various taxes and fees.
But I do hope the government can improve public transport first. In addition, we should also raise
people’s awareness of obeying the traffic rules strictly. Only in this way can we solve this problem
better.

Film or book, which do you prefer?
Some of us think that it is better to see the film than to read the book in the original. The
reason is that it takes less time to understand the whole story. Besides, the film is usually more
interesting, and it is easier to follow.
Some others have just the opposite opinion. They think that they can get more detailed
information from the original. Meanwhile, the language in the book is possibly more lively and
beautiful.
Personally, I agree with the second view. Actually I have more reasons for it. I think I can stay
at home, reading quietly in a situation of my own, and what's more, I am able to better understand the author's ideas. In a word, to read the original work is better than to see the film based on it.
