范文一:太极拳英文介绍
Taijiquan is one of the Chinese Traditional martial arts. Initially, it functioned as a unique and profound self-defense technique. As an ancient Kongfu, Taiji includes quan, sword, broadsword, spear, push-hand, etc. Especially the push-hand is well known for its tactic and technique, the powerful and aggressive opponent being defeated by a small clever attack or an abrupt explosive power. As an typical artful Chinese Kongfu, hand push has been highly popular with the small and weak people.
With the cold-weapon-age fading out, the health-care function of Taiji is increasingly gaining the importance, instead of its former role. According to the scientific research, it can improve our immune system, central nervous system, and strengthen the fitness. Because Taijiquan is a practice with a perfect combination of physical movement, deep breath and meditation. Through long years practice, many chronic diseases can be effectively cured or relieved such as neurasthenia, insomnia, neurosis, high blood pressure, stomach and intestines disease, kidney disease, arthritics, diabetes, hypochondria and even the obesity etc. So it clearly illustrates the value of Taijiquan in therapy and disease prevention.

Taiji--- the world of Yin
and Yang, the world of the nature and relaxation, will become your a whole-new life style in the new millennium.
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese internal martial art system, which combines profound principles, theories and martial art techniques. The slow, soft and continuously flowing movements appear mysterious on the surface. However, it is the cultivation of one's internal energy, mind and the physical body that make it so unique and challenging. To generate relaxation, Tai Chi practice requires a deep level of concentration and a focused mind, thus allowing the mind to lead and guide the body's energy.
Tai Chi is not only a martial art, but has also been widely acknowledged as being an effective health exercise. Whether Tai Chi is practiced for health, as athletic sport or martial art it takes time, patience and qualitative practice to develop Tai Chi's internal properties. To achieve a high standard in Tai Chi training is a highly complex process.

Theoretical basis of Qigong The human body is a complicated system. Gases form, food is digested, Qi and blood circulate, saliva secretes, waste material is discharged, the PH changes, and spiritual activity influences metabolisms, all happening continuously in response to the growth of life. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) regards such physiological changes as results of fluctuations and changes in the flow and function of Qi which circulate throughout the body through channels and collaterals. Qigong is a psychopneumatological exercise, drills posture, respiration and focus of the mind in order to unclog the channels and collaterals and re-establish

of the human body in various ways. Qigong experts and doctors in the past have done much research and established many theories. Contemporary research has further proven that Qigong is a holistic exercise, which requires little of the environment but produces a positive effect on the functions of all body organs and systems or tracts. Effects on the Respiration System The
effect of Qigong is very obvious on the respiratory system. Most people can deepen, prolong, invigorate and slow down their breathing after from 10-20 times per minute to 4-5 times or even fewer. When Qigong practice is effective, oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide decrease. This indicates that Qigong increases alveolar ventilation by activating gas exchange. Reduction in the number of respiration does not cause shortage of oxygen but saves much bio-physiological energy which otherwise would be consumed in more respiratory movement. Effects on the Digestive
System Qigong exercise invigorates and regulates digestion. Studies have shown that the up-and-down movements of the diaphragm muscles in the Qigong-practicing group of patients were much larger on scale than in a comparison group that did not practice Qigong. The stomach fundus o

范文五:气功和太极拳的英文介绍
Theor?etica?l basis? of Qigon?g The human? body is a compl?icate?d syste?m. Gases? form, food is diges?ted, Qi and blood? circu?late, saliv?a secre?tes, waste? mater?ial is disch?arged?, the PH chang?es, and spiri?tual activ?ity influ?ences? metab?olism?s, all happe?ning conti?nuous?ly in respo?nse to the growt?h of life. Tradi?tiona?l Chine?se Medic?ine (TCM) regar?ds such physi?ologi?cal chang?es as resul?ts of fluct?uatio?ns and chang?es in the flow and funct?ion of Qi which? circu?late throu?ghout? the body throu?gh chann?els and colla?teral?s. Qigon?g is a psych?opneu?matol?ogica?l exerc?ise, drill?s postu?re, respi?ratio?n and focus? of the mind in order? to unclo?g the chann?els and colla?teral?s and re-estab?lish body equil?ibriu?m.
Benef?its of pract?icing? Qigon?g: Qigon?g can affec?t the compl?ex mecha?nism of the human? body in vario?us ways. Qigon?g exper?ts and docto?rs in the past have done much resea?rch and estab?lishe?d many theor?ies. Conte?mpora?ry resea?rch has furth?er prove?n that Qigon?g is a holis?tic exerc?ise, which? requi?res littl?e of the envir?onmen?t but produ?ces a posit?ive effec?t on the funct?ions of all body organ?s and syste?ms or tract?s.
Effec?ts on the Respi?ratio?n Syste?m The effec?t of Qigon?g is very obvio?us on the respi?rator?y syste?m. Most peopl?e can deepe?n, prolo?ng, invig?orate? and slow down their? breat?hing after? from 10-20 times? per minut?e to 4-5 times? or even fewer?. When Qigon?g pract?ice is effec?tive, oxyge?n consu?mptio?n and carbo?n dioxi?de decre?ase. This indic?ates that Qigon?g incre?ases alveo?lar venti?latio?n by activ?ating? gas excha?nge. Reduc?tion in the numbe?r of respi?ratio?n does not cause? short?age of oxyge?n but saves? much bio-physi?ologi?cal energ?y which? other?wise would? be consu?med in more respi?rator?y movem?ent.
Effec?ts on the Diges?tive Syste?m Qigon?g exerc?ise invig?orate?s and regul?ates diges?tion. Studi?es have shown? that the up-and-down movem?ents of the diaph?ragm muscl?es in the Qigon?g-pract?icing? group? of patie?nts were much large?r on scale? than in a compa?rison? group? that did not pract?ice Qigon?g. The stoma?ch fundu?s of a Qigon?g pract?ition?er was also found? to be six times? highe?r than that of a non-pract?ition?er. These? Qigon?g-relat?ed chang?es preve?nt disea?ses of the gastr?ointe?stina?l tract? and prema?ture aging?.
Effec?ts on the Blood? Funct?ion Qigon?g can drama?tical?ly chang?e the perip?heral? blood? pictu?re. Measu?ring Qigon?g effec?ts on blood? shows? white? cells? incre?ase 13 to 23 perce?nt on avera?ge. The phago?cytic? index? of white? cells? may also incre?ase from 40 perce?nt to over 90 perce?nt after? Qigon?g pract?ice.
Effec?ts on Cardi?ovasc?ular Funct?ion Stati?c Qigon?g (also known? as Quies?cent Exerc?ise) is parti?cular?ly effec?tive in slowi?ng the rate of
heart?beat. Qigon?g can signi?fican?tly reduc?e pulmo?nary press?ure, of which? the effec?t is bette?r than intra?venou?s injec?tion. After? Qigon?g pract?ice, the systo?lic press?ure dropp?ed 18 milli?meter?s and the diast?olic dropp?ed 16 milli?meter?s.
Effec?ts on Metab?olism? It has been prove?d that a pract?ition?er抯 gas metab?olism? is reduc?ed when one enter?s the quies?cent state? of Qigon?g, but chang?e in the quant?ity of oxyge?n while? doing? Qigon?g exerc?ise can reduc?e gas metab?olism? to the minim?um level? requi?red by the human? body ordin?arily?, which? is lower? than simpl?y lying?.
Beiji?ng
If your visio?ns of Beiji?ng are centr?ed aroun?d pods of Maois?t revol?ution?aries? in butto?ned-down tunic?s perfo?rming? t'ai chi in the Squar?e, put them to rest: this city has embar?ked on a new-mille?nnium? rolle?r-coast?er and it's takin?g the rest of China? with it.
The spins?teris?h Beiji?ng of old is havin?g a facel?ift and the citys?cape is chang?ing daily?. Withi?n the city, howev?er, you'll still? find some of China?'s most stunn?ing sight?s: the Forbi?dden City, the Summe?r Palac?e, Templ?e of Heave?n Park, the Lama Templ?e and the Great? Wall, to name just a few.
Hong Kong
Hong Kong has the big city speci?als like smog, odour?, 14 milli?on elbow?s and an insan?e love of clatt?er. But it's also effic?ient, hushe?d and peace?ful: the trans?port netwo?rk is excel?lent, the shopp?ing centr?es are subli?me, and the templ?es and quiet? corne?rs of parks? are conte?mplat?ive oases?.
Hong Kong has enoug?h tower?ing urban?ity, elect?ric stree?tscap?es, enigm?atic templ?es, comme?rcial? fervo?ur and cultu?ral idios?yncra?sies to utter?ly swamp? the sense?s of a visit?or, and enoug?h spont?aneou?s, unexp?ected? possi?bilit?ies to make a compl?ete mocke?ry of any attem?pt at a stric?tly organ?ised itine?rary.
Macau?
Macau? may be firml?y back in China?'s orbit?, but the Portu?guese? patin?a on this Sino-Lusit?anian? Las Vegas? makes? it a most unusu?al Asian? desti?natio?n. It has alway?s been overs?hadow?ed by its glitz?y near-neigh?bour Hong Kong - which? is preci?sely why it's so attra?ctive?.
Macau?'s dual cultu?ral herit?age is a boon for trave?llers?, who can take th转载自?中国作文网?http://www.t262.com请保?留此标记e?ir pick from tradi?tiona?l Chine?se templ?es, a spect?acula?r ruine?d cathe?dral, paste?l villa?s, old forts? and islan?ds that once harbo?ured pirat?es. In many ways, Shang?hai is a Weste?rn inven?tion. The Bund, its river?side area, and Frenc?htown?
are the best place?s to see the remna?nts of its decad?ent colon?ial past. Move on to templ?es, garde?ns, bazaa?rs and the strik?ing archi?tectu?re of the new Shang?hai.
Xi'an
Xi'an was once a major? cross?roads? on the tradi?ng route?s from easte?rn China? to centr?al Asia, and vied with Rome and later? Const?antin?ople for the title? of great?est city in the world?. Today?
Xi'an is one of China?'s major? drawc?ards, large?ly becau?se of the Army of Terra?cotta? Warri?ors on the city's easte?rn outsk?irts. Uncov?ered in 1974, over 10,000 figur?es have been sorte?d to date. Soldi?ers, arche?rs (armed? with real weapo?ns) and chari?ots stand? in battl?e forma?tion in under?groun?d vault?s looki?ng as fierc?e and war-like as potte?ry can. Xi'an's other? attra?ction?s inclu?de the old city walls?, the Musli?m quart?er and the Banpo? Neoli?thic Villa?ge - a tacky? re-creat?ion of the Stone? Age.
