“个性奖学金”用英文怎么说

日前，“全球华人第一狂人”、华佗论箭组委会名誉主席严介和来

到湖北十堰丹江口，为当地100名中小学生颁发个性奖学金，每

人1万元。本次湖北省共有丹江口市、老河口市和京山县3个县

市的300名学生获得该奖项。

据中国新闻通讯社报道，湖北有300名学生因为学业之外表现出

的出众个性而获得了每人1万元(合1625美元)的非传统奖学

金。

性奖学金

这种“个性奖学金”英语表达是individuality scholarship，是颁发

给那些demonstrate distinctive individualities(表现出独特个性)

的学生的。这一个性奖学金是国内首个以“关注个性、尊重个性、

保护个性”为主题的奖学金。

该奖学金的创始人严介和认为，中国教育的一大弊端就是对学生

的培养趋于homogeneity(同质化)，这种教育剥夺了学生的个性。

大家好!我是来自电气工程学院研二的丁涛。此时此刻，作为获奖学生代表发言，我感到非常荣幸和激动。首先，请允许我代表获奖同学对辛勤培育我们的老师和母校，以及给予我们帮助与支持的阿尔斯通集团致以诚挚的敬意和衷心的感谢。

东揽钟山紫气，北拥扬子银涛。百年名校东南大学美丽如画的校园滋润了我们这群莘莘学子，为我们构建了优美的学习和生活环境。百年多的发展历程中，学校积淀了深厚的文化底蕴和独特的教学风格，特别是“至于至善”的优良传统，已经渗透到了我们每一个东大人的血液中，成为我们永恒的准则与追求。可以说，我们每一个人的成长都离不开学校为我们提供的良好的学术文化氛围，也离不开老师们的谆谆教导和悉心关怀。他们在传道授业解惑的同时，更关注我们的人格完善和健康成长。正是有了这样的学校和这样的老师，我们才取得今天的成绩，也才能具备获得企业奖学金的资格和荣誉。

我相信只有努力付出才有成功的希望，父母从小就教导我做人要诚实做事要踏实，所以，无论是在学习上，还是生活中我都要严格要求自己，让自己做一个对社会有用的人。

大一刚进校时，我还很迷茫，不知道我的大学的生活将会是什么样，整天都在思考我的未来的方向以及怎么实现自己的价值等问题。那种刚进大学的新鲜劲每天都充斥在我的身体之中，让我对周围陌生的一切产生了浓厚的兴趣。不久我就意识到，大学的四年将会是我一生中最宝贵的一段时间，在这段时间内我能够没有任何压力的做自己喜欢的事情，比如学自己喜欢的科目、看自己喜欢的书、和自己喜欢的人做朋友等，一切都是那么美好与让人兴奋。大一时由于学校对英语很重视，于是每个星期都安排了很多英语课，每天都要上早晚自习，有时甚至周末也要补课，很多同学抱怨学校抓得太紧占用了我们很多的休息时间，而我却很高兴学校能够这么督促我们搞学习，这对我们自己来说何尝不是一件好事呢?于是我紧跟着学校的进度把学

校布置给我们的任务完成的一丝不苟。终于，经过一年的紧张学习我在09年一年一次性高分通过英语四六级考试，对于这个结果我很满意，其中少不了学校以及老师们对我无私的帮助。

怀着四六级考试成功的喜悦我进入了大二，对于大二我又有了新的期待，除了在学习上要有所突破外，我还必须加强对自己的各种能力的锻炼。于是我自愿当上了班里的学习委员，除了学习要带头外，我还希望能够尽力帮助班上成绩落后的同学，让每个人都能够有所进步。毕竟，光凭一个班干部，自己能力的提升还是有所局限的，所以我又参加了很多学校及院系组织的各种活动，比如“挑战者”杯全国大学生创业策划大赛并进入学校决赛、参加学校举办的唱红歌和金秋歌会、担任学校举办的“大学生心理知识竞赛”主持人等。当然，课外活动只是为了丰富课余生活和锻炼能力，大学生的本职工作永远是学习，我给自己制定了详细的学习计划并严格执行，大二上学期结束时我被评为班级优秀干部并且期末考试成绩一跃成为班级第一、系里第二，我知道骄傲是进步的最大敌人，我并没有因此而沾沾自喜，反而我却更加努力了，因为我切身感受到了一分耕耘一分收获的道理。经过一年的努力，我顺利的完成了当初设定的目标。学年总成绩年级排名第三，综合测评成绩年级排名第三，并因此获得了国家励志奖学金获得者的殊荣。

其实所获奖学金对我而言，并不纯粹是金钱物质鼓励，用它来请客?买东西?旅游?不!它最重要的本质是给我一种莫大的肯定、鞭策和希望，这些都是金钱难买的。这是一种精神的奖励，一种更高层次

的奖赏。大家还记得那些获奖的明星在颁奖典礼上是怎么说的吗?他们之前肯定会说一大串感谢他人的话，可每每当中都有这么一句话:“谢谢大家对于我的在工作或学习上的肯定，我将会更加努力，不辜负您们的期望。”这虽然只是一句微不足道的话，可是对于发言者而言，就并不那么的简简单单。当我们的辛勤付出得到了别人肯定的时候，哪怕只是那么一点点，它也会让我们更加有信心、有动力的继续努力下去。因此获得奖学金的这种肯定而产生的动力将会使我的大学生活更加有滋有味有意义。

我知道获得了奖学金并不意味着就达到了我们的目标而可以停滞不前。在人生旅途中，获奖只是一种助推器，而不是最根本的动力器。我们要如何前进?答案就掌握在我们自己的手中。所以，奖学金并不是我们最终的目标，而是我们前进路途中的一股动力。我们应正确看待这种奖励和荣誉。不能因为一时取得好的成绩而骄傲，也不能因为成绩一时不理想而气馁。学习就如逆水行舟，不进则退。只有不断地努力，不骄不躁，认真对待学习，不轻言放弃，看淡得失。以一颗平常心，踏实勤奋。才能取得更优异的成绩，才能创造更美好的未来。

在这个知识竞争的年代，强者生存，弱者淘汰已成为生存法则，只有掌握丰富的专业知识过硬的专业技能娴熟的为人处世之道，才能找到立足之地。这个世界就好比一支大试管，而我们与困难就是大试管里面的两种单质，我们只有经过挫折，烈火，煅燃，才会结合成最稳定的化合物---成功。

Learning management of city logistics will bring me a new vision to the city logistics system of Amoy and Cardiff, especially how light railway influences urban transportation. It will help me a lot how to plan and manage local transportation suppose I work in the urban transportation sector one day.

And study in Cardiff will come to be precious experience for

Chinese students, I will try my best to push the communication among the students from Cardiff and Amoy, make further corporation between the colleges and universities in these two cities.
