国家标准是第一角投影。你现在看到的那些第三角投影的图纸，大都是国外的图纸。现如今需要与国际接轨，许多公司也纷纷采用第三角投影来制图。

看图时要注意，第一角投影是人→物→图的投影关系；而第三角投影是人→图→物的关系。

对应的机械图为：

第一角视图：左视图放右边，右视图放左边，俯视图放下面，仰视图放上边。　　

第三角视图：左视图放左边，右视图放右边，俯视图放上面，仰视图放下边。

机械制图是用图样确切表示机械的结构形状、尺寸大小、工作原理和技术要求的学科。图样由图形、符号、文字和数字等组成，是表达设计意图和制造要求以及交流经验的技术文件，常被称为工程界的语言。另外机械制图也是大多高等院校机械类及相关专业开设的一门基本必修课程之一。

各国一般都有自己的国家标准，国际上有国际标准化组织制定的标准。中国的机械制图国家标准制定于1959年，后在1974年和1984年修订过两次。在机械制图标准中规定的项目有：图纸幅面及格式、比例、字体和图线等。在图纸幅面及格式中规定了图纸标准幅面的大小和图纸中图框的相应尺寸。
