The tradition of birthday parties started a long time ago. Later the unhappy things happened again and again. No one dared to support the old people. In Shenzhen, on December 15, 2010, an old man fell down on the ground and no one walked forward to help him, the poor man died there. On September 2, 2011, in Wuhan, an 88-year-old
man came home from the market and fell down , a group of people looked at this situation, but nobody went up and gave him a hand, before long, the old man was found dead.
Why people didn’t go to help them when they saw this happen? I think there are two reasons for this. On one hand , some people are short of sympathy(同情心). On the other hand, some old people blame(责备)the helpers and even ask them to pay for what they have suffered. I think this is the most important reason, it makes people get colder and colder.
